Sponge Tool of Photoshop : Saturate Images Instantly

One of the Photoshop tools that not many people know about is the Sponge Tool. However, for adult web designers, the tool has already proved its mettle. The tool can be used either for saturating or de-saturating parts of an image. The Sponge Tool of Photoshop doesn't show up on the default tools window. In fact, it's nicely tucked away in between the Burn and the Dodge Tools. The tool can be used simply as a paint brush and it lets you play with your images the way you want to play. For adult website designers, the tool has surely got a large role to perform.

Using the Sponge Tool, you can make the color of an image more or less intense instantly. The Sponge Tool looks like a tiny sponge and it can be accessed by clicking on it in the vertical toolbar that's found on the left hand side of your workspace. After accessing the tool you can follow these tips:

* Depending on whether you want to make the color of an image more or less intense, you need to select either "saturate" or "de-saturate". If you want more intensity in your image, you need to select "saturate'. If you want less intensity, then hitting "de-saturate" will do the trick for you.
* By moving your cursor over the image, you can see the color change.
* You can check your Photoshop image to see color change in effect. By checking the opposite command from the control panel, you can reverse the effect.

An adult web designer primarily uses the saturation feature of the tool to intensify a model's lips. With the help of the tool, someone's cheeks can also be made look rosy. The Sponge Tool comes with a Pressure setting feature using which you can get subtle changes in intensity.
